While taking a private taxi is slightly costly, it is the most comfortable and convenient way to travel between destinations. For travel to Ometepe, we can arrange for a taxi to pick you up at the airport or your hotel and take you to the San Jorge ferry port. Please fill out the taxi order form at the bottom of this page to arrange for a pick-up. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to arrange a driver. Once we receive your reservation details, we will email a confirmation of your pick-up and payment amount. Please pay the driver directly in either dollars or córdoba.
When leaving Ometepe, we can arrange for a driver to meet you on the dock in San Jorge to take you to your next location. No reservation is needed for Ometepe departure taxis. Please speak to reception the day before you leave to arrange your taxi away from Ometepe.
All rates below are listed in USD. All the taxis we use are air conditioned and kept in good condition.
